The day it happened had been one of those crisp, cool autumn days that was simply perfect. Everything about the day had been marvelous...and unexpected.
Genevieve had been helping her parents in the family bookstore, unloading the newest shipment of books. She could feel some sort of magic stirring in the air, although she wasn't quite sure where it was coming from. After all, since she was a baby, her mother and father had said to her that simply being around books was magical.
